RYA National Powerboat Certificate (level two)
Single and twin-engine boats
This two day course covers boat preparation, launch and recovery, boat handling under way, securing to a buoy and anchoring, leaving and coming alongside pontoons and other craft, man over board, disabled craft, charts, tides, compass and practical
instruction and advice on the use of locks
This course covers all you need to know about small and medium size boat handling.

Individual Courses

These could be anything from hiring a school boat and instructor to run a one to one course, brushing up on some rusty skills.

Learning a new skill e.g. knot’s & rope work. If there is something you would like to learn or know more about give us a call.

 

International Certificate of Competence and CEVNI

We run these tests / courses for both coastal and inland waters,

Most European countries now require these Certificates if you are taking your own boat or looking to hire one abroad

RYA Introduction to powerboating

(Level one)

In Cardiff bay or out in the channel, ideal if you or someone you know is thinking of buying their first boat.

Own boat courses

We can arrange all of the practical courses aboard your own boat

Providing it is over sixteen feet in length and has third party insurance cover and it’s seaworthy.

Direct assessments

Can be arranged for the practical RYA courses for people who already have a good working knowledge of the rules of the road and boat handerling.
